This past weekend, I had the pleasure of attending the grand opening pop-up for Chagee, the modern teahouse that’s been on every LA tea lover’s radar—and let me tell you, it was worth the wait.
Set against the stylish backdrop of Westfield Century City, Chagee’s much-anticipated debut drew quite the crowd. The line stretched long, but the Chagee team made the wait feel like part of the experience. Guests were kept cool and comfortable with plenty of bottled water, umbrellas for shade, and the cutest branded goodies—I especially loved the compact mirror (a perfect touch of practical and pretty).
Once inside, the energy was electric. With every latte ordered, guests were entered for a chance to win incredible prizes—think MacBooks, AirPods, Chagee merch, and even a coveted Chanel bag. While I didn’t strike gold this time, the spirit of generosity didn’t skip anyone. I walked away with a chic Chagee magnet, a coupon for a future visit, and, of course, a delicious, refreshing drink that lived up to the hype.
If you’re ready to sip something special, you’re in luck—Chagee is now officially open on Level Two at Westfield Century City. Whether you’re a die-hard tea fan or just tea-curious, this new spot is definitely one to add to your rotation.
