Paris is always a good idea, and this trip proved exactly why. Staying in a charming Airbnb on Rue Jean Goujon, just a short walk from both the Champs-Élysées and The Eiffel Tower, set the perfect tone for a week of unforgettable experiences—filled with delicious food, breathtaking sights, and even a little magic.
Day 1: A Dinner with a View
Nothing says “Welcome to Paris” quite like an impromptu dinner with the Eiffel Tower as a backdrop. We wandered the streets in search of a place to eat and, by sheer luck, stumbled upon a restaurant with an outdoor patio perfectly positioned for sunset. By the time dessert arrived, the Iron Lady began to twinkle, marking the most magical start to our trip.
Day 2: Rainy Day Adventures & Indulgent Hot Chocolate
A little rain wasn’t going to slow us down. We kicked off the morning at Carette, where their iconic hot chocolate is basically a warm hug in a cup—thick, rich, and absolutely decadent. Energized, we made our way to Sacré-Cœur Basilica, taking in its stunning views over the city before heading to the Galeries Lafayette rooftop and Glasswalk for another breathtaking perspective of Paris.
Day 3: A Solo Adventure to Disneyland Paris
I couldn’t resist a little solo escapade to Disneyland Paris—because who says Disney magic is just for kids? From riding Phantom Manor to strolling down Main Street, U.S.A., it was a dreamlike day of nostalgia and pure fun.
Day 4: The Louvre & Masterpieces Galore
No trip to Paris is complete without a visit to The Louvre. From the Mona Lisa’s mysterious smile to the grandeur of The Winged Victory of Samothrace, we wandered through history, soaking in some of the world’s most legendary works of art.
Day 5: A Little Shopping & A Lot of Treats
The morning started early with a pilgrimage to Polène, where we lined up before the doors opened to beat the crowds. I hadn’t planned on making a purchase, but fate had other ideas—I fell in love with a blush Numéro Neuf Mini and simply couldn’t leave without it.
Next, it was time for something sweet, so we treated ourselves to the viral Maison Louvard Crookie—a heavenly mix of croissant and cookie—before heading to lunch at the dreamy Maxime Frédéric chez Louis Vuitton in the 1st Arrondissement. Every dish was a work of art, making for one of the most memorable meals of the trip.
Day 6: Food, Tattoos & Surprise Cocktails
For our last full day, we ventured to the 3rd Arrondissement for a bite at Marché des Enfants Rouges, one of Paris’s oldest covered markets, before taking the ultimate friendship souvenir—matching tattoos at Walk in Tattoo.
To close out the day, we made our way to Bisou, a cocktail bar with a fun twist: no menu. Instead, you simply tell the bartender what flavors you love, and they craft a drink just for you. Every sip was a delightful surprise, making for the perfect toast to an unforgettable week in the City of Light.
Final Thoughts
Paris never fails to enchant, but this trip was something special—a mix of spontaneity, indulgence, and adventure. From twinkling Eiffel Tower moments to Disney magic, fashion finds, and even a little ink, each day brought something new to love.
Until next time, Paris—à bientôt!
